Aura Rose Quartz starts out as clear quartz, which is then bonded with a thin layer of vaporised platinum, often with traces of gold or silver, through a lab process called vapour deposition. This gives it a raspberry pink, metallic sheen that isn't a naturally occurring quartz colour. It's a different stone to natural Rose Quartz, which gets its pink colour from trace minerals within the crystal itself rather than a surface coating.
