Bumblebee Jasper
Bumblebee Jasper isn't actually a true jasper, despite the name. It's a volcanic rock found only around Mount Papandayan in West Java, Indonesia, first identified in the 1990s. It forms in fumarole environments, where volcanic gases and mineral rich fluids deposit layers of calcite, sulfur, and arsenic bearing minerals like realgar and orpiment, creating its bold yellow, orange, and black banding.
