Crazy Lace Agate is a variety of banded chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz, found almost exclusively in Chihuahua, Mexico. It formed roughly 65 to 90 million years ago, as silica rich fluids moved through cavities in volcanic rock and surrounding limestone, depositing intricate, swirling bands. Its vivid colours come from trace minerals, iron oxides create the browns and yellows, while manganese oxides bring out the reds and pinks.
Crazy Lace Agate is good for:
Encouraging joy and laughter
Supporting emotional stability
Building confidence
Aiding decision making
Easing exhaustion and fatigue
Pairs well with: Carnelian and Citrine, for a bright, uplifting combination.
Every crystal is one of a kind. As a natural formation, your crazy lace agate may include unique inclusions, colour variations, or markings. These aren't flaws. They're what make each piece truly one of a kind.
