Tabasco Geodes, also known as Illianites, are among the smallest geodes on Earth, sourced from a single volcanic field in Zacatecas, Mexico. They form within tiny gas bubbles trapped in cooling basalt lava, where a slow drip of mineral rich groundwater builds up a thin agate rind around a miniature cavity, often finished with a scattering of sparkling druzy quartz at its centre.
Tabasco Geode is good for:
Encouraging self acceptance and confidence
Supporting honest self expression
Healing old anger or trauma
Fostering love and connection
Offering the courage to start fresh
Pairs well with: Clear Quartz and Amethyst, for a small but bright, clarifying combination.
Every crystal is one of a kind. As a natural formation, your Tabasco geode may include unique inclusions, colour variations, or markings. These aren't flaws. They're what make each piece truly one of a kind.
