Mookite is a colourful jasper found only in the Kennedy Ranges of Western Australia, near Mooka Creek. Geologically, it's actually a fossil rich sedimentary rock, formed around 100 to 120 million years ago from the silica rich skeletons of tiny marine organisms called radiolarians that settled on an ancient seabed. Over millions of years, those layers compressed and hardened into the vivid red, yellow, and cream banded stone we see today.
Mookite is good for:
Grounding
Connecting to the earth
Supporting resilience through change
Encouraging steady decision making
Boosting vitality
Pairs well with: Carnelian and Smokey Quartz, for a warm, grounded combination.
Every crystal is one of a kind. As a natural formation, your mookite may include unique inclusions, colour variations, or markings. These aren't flaws. They're what make each piece truly one of a kind.
